The objective of the present study is to perform investigative studies to quantify the effectiveness of road safety interventions of various safety products.

Road safety products play a critical role in reducing accidents, but their real-world impact often requires detailed evaluation. Street Matrix, in collaboration with the Central Road Research Institute (CRRI), conducted a comprehensive study to assess the effectiveness of Kataline Pvt. Ltd.'s road safety products. This study aimed to provide insights into their performance and safety benefits, particularly at crash-prone locations.

Reliable, affordable, and safe public transport is a need for Indian cities in view of the declining usage of public transport. To provide transit services to citizens, public transit operators seek subsidies from the government and provide concessions (reductions in fares) to commuters.

Travel passes have long been used as a fare subsidy strategy to reduce commuting costs and encourage public transport usage. However, there is often limited understanding of who the users are and the specific benefits they derive from these passes.

Street Matrix facilitated a Focus Group Discussion (FGD) for ITDP India in collaboration with the Association of State Road Transport Undertakings (ASRTU) and BMTC. The discussion engaged BMTC’s women bus drivers and conductors to understand their workplace experiences, challenges, and perspectives.

Government Hospital Road in Coimbatore was suffering with low traffic movement due to the long term and haphazard parking of two wheelers across the frontage of Government Hospital.

One of their Campaigns is ‘One Billion Drops’ which aims to create 10,000 percolation wells in the city of Bengaluru to recharge the declining groundwater.

Several traffic measures to be installed in School Zones to remind motorist to slow down, drive carefully and to look out for children crossing the road.
